SCHENKING IDB 728 000 US$ VOOR GEMEENSCHAPPELIJK ONTWIK.FONDS
Het Gemeenschappelijk Ontwikkelingsfonds is een operationele samenwerkingsvorm tussen de IDB en het Ministerie van Regionale Onntwikkeling. Het fonds heeft tot doel, sociale ontwikkeling en armoedebestrijding te bevorderen in de districten. Het geld werd door de Japanse overheid beschikbaar gesteld en is bestemd voor het opzetten van 15 gemeenschapsprojecten in 11 districten
NOODBETALING AAN STICHTING JEUGDTANDVERZORGING
De door betalingsachterstanden van de overheid in ernstige problemen geraakte Stichting Jeugdtand Verzorging ontvangt van de overheid een noodbedrag van 93 miljoen gulden. Het personeel kan voorlopig worden betaald, maar de lopende schulden nog niet. Onzeker is echter nog of de salarissen over de maand februari betaald kunnen worden
SOUTH AFRICA WANTS TO WORK TOGETHER WITH SURINAME
