Our national carrier SLM, the Dutch KLM and the Netherlands Antillean ALM
(in a joined operation) have scheduled flights between Paramaribo and
Amsterdam, Curacao, Aruba and Miami. SLM flies to Cayenne (with connecting flights to/from Paris
and Amsterdam), Belem and Macapa, Port of Spain, Barbados, Georgetown.
Locally SLM has regular flighs to New Nickerie.
In addition one can charter small planes from SLM and other companies to fly from various Caribbean islands and our
neighbouring countries to Suriname v.v and locally from Paramaribo to most of the small airstrips in the interior.

Suriname can also be reached overland by ferry from Springlands, Guyana and by car-ferry from St. Laurent, French Guiana. Both ferries sail on a daily schedule.
